After several months of demanding negotiations with the company’s owner, the transaction documents were signed on 4 July 2013, making Sportakcent spol. s r.o., a leading Czech swimming pool technology company, the newest member of the construction technology division of PERSEUS Group. The company is one of the top players in its field in the Czech Republic, and together with the other group members we can now offer turnkey construction of private and public swimming pools. In the coming years the company also plans a significant expansion into Slovakia, Hungary, Croatia and other promising markets.
Having submitted the best financing offer, Československá obchodní banka, a.s. financed the acquisition and also became the new bank of the entire PERSEUS Group. Legal assistance in the transaction was provided by Perthen, Perthenová, Švadlena a partneři s.r.o. for the buyer, Bányaiová Vožehová, s.r.o., advokátní kancelář for the seller, and White & Case Prague for the financing bank.
